Review Engagements: Practical Application of CSRE 2400

About the Session

A new standard on review engagements will come into effect for reviews of financial statements and financial information for periods ending on or after December 14, 2017. This training activity is essential to experienced practitioners who have already taken note of the requirements of the new standard CSRE 2400 and are aware of the differences with the requirements of the current standard.

Using extracts of a review engagement file for a fictitious entity, this activity, which is aimed at an experienced clientele, allows the participant to deepen their knowledge of the new requirements and to benefit from practical advice in order to properly apply them.

It is recommended to have a good knowledge of the new standard before enrolling in this activity.

About the Instructor

Sean Greene, CPA, CA is currently a partner at Thiel Greene in Moncton, and has more than 15 years of experience in public accounting. His practice consists of providing accounting, assurance, taxation, and general advisory services to small and medium sized owner managed businesses, as well as a significant number of not-for-profit organizations.

In addition, Sean serves as a Practice Inspector for CPA New Brunswick, and previously, for the New Brunswick Institute of Chartered Accountants. In the past, Sean has lead professional development sessions on a variety of accounting and assurance topics.
