The Saint John Chapter of CPA New Brunswick invites you to a Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and networking session on Wednesday, November 20, 2019. In addition to 1.5 hours of verifiable CPD in ethics, you will have the opportunity to socialize with other CPAs from your region.
This course provides participants with opportunities to evaluate ethical scenarios in a variety of contexts that are realistic and representative of the CPA demographic (including industry, not-for-profit, public sector and public practice).
The course begins with a brief refresher of the CPA Code of Professional Conduct, followed by team-based evaluations of ethical scenarios and potential actions to determine where the line of acceptable behaviour is crossed.
Small group discussions will be followed by larger group debriefs. Participants will increase their competence and confidence in interpreting and applying the CPA Code of Professional Conduct to real-life workplace challenges.
Please join us as Gary Lawson navigates us through ethical dilemmas – providing tools to hone understanding and discretion.
Seating is limited. The price includes appetizers, one beverage, and CPD session.
Please register by midnight on Sunday, November 17, 2019.
Additional options and pricing may be available. See pricing and registration for more details.
