We had the dream: achieving our goal of obtaining a CPA designation. Having the knowledge and skills to do the job competently, professionally, and with accuracy, confidence, and a strong ethical compass. \nWe have the capability of putting issues and situations into perspective, and the ability to find solutions for those issues by working closely with business owners. We resolve their financial situations, and bring growth to their businesses. We belong to vast professional networks which include bankers, lawyers, business people, and other accountants. We have finally arrived, Bob Cratchit!\n\nYes, as accountants we do personal income taxes, but that's just the tip of the proverbial iceberg. There is still so much more we can do. We can help set up new businesses, facilitate project planning, costing, management... the sky really is the limit. And believe it or not: it's exciting! \nFrom the rather shy person who thought, even back in 1980... Bob's job in that back room really was accounting.\nIt's not just math, either. Have you ever wanted to be an accountant? A Chartered Professional Accountant? You can work as an auditor, financial advisor, or even for Revenue Canada, if you so desire. Banks, agencies, and the government need accountants, too. Even farmers and fishermen benefit from our knowledge, skills, and networks. We even teach, too! Not to mention computer programming with regards to accounting software.\nAccountants have many, many options. We meet lots of interesting people from all walks of life, and from every corner of the globe. Today's world is way beyond what Bob Cratchit could ever have imagined.\nSeason's Greetings!
