Understanding Generations in the Workplace
There are a number of generations represented in today’s workplace. Each have their own values and ways of defining things such as loyalty, commitment, engagement and work-ethic.

These differences can become the basis for conflict, or they can create uncertainty about how to best approach people from other generations. The lack of understanding can affect the ability of these various generations to work well together.

In this session we gain an insight into the 3 generations currently in the workplace, as well as a sneak peek at the generation to come. We look at the values, work styles, communication styles and priorities. We look at how each generation tends to define loyalty, commitment, engagement and work-ethic. We look at ways to better work with or to better communicate with each of the generations more effectively, and to get better results.

Cancellations and Schedule Changes

Registered participants may apply for cancellation on individual sessions for a refund of 80% of the fees paid. Cancellation requests must be submitted by 4:00pm on Friday, April 26, 2019.

A $50 administration fee will apply to course and registration changes.

Course Material

Participants will receive an e-mail containing the course material the week before the conference. Participants may then choose to save them to their computers, tablets, or to print the files.

Registration Desk Hours

Please report to the registration desk on the first day of your sessions. Here you will receive your name badge, conference information, and a delegate package.

The registration desk will be open from 7:30am to 4:30pm.


Lunches and refreshments are provided at no cost to participants on the day(s) of their session(s).

All allergies and dietary restrictions will be shared with the venue and servers. Please give your server your name so they may retrieve your special meal if applicable.

CPD Hours

A full-day session entitles you to 7 hours of CPD and a half-day to 3 ½.

During each session, you will be asked to sign an attendance sheet as proof that you were present. Using these, the CPA New Brunswick office will load your CPD hours into your profile the week following the event.
